Spin your way into History, and enjoy a hands-on fun experience where you will gain valuable insights into the historical significance of sheep and wool in Connemara’s past. Discover the rich heritage of the local woollen industry and witness firsthand how sheep’s fleece is transformed into cloth through engaging displays and demonstrations.
Our expert weaver Seamus uses traditional techniques to spin and weave the wool on antique wheels and looms from the early 1900s. You can even try your hand at spinning, and let your kids experience the roles that children played in the wool-making process back in times gone by.

Cute little place to have a break. Nice parking across the street. Great place to grab a coffee and a snack for the long road ahead. Many nice wool products and souvenirs. Great energy from the staff and don't be shy to ask them where to go next. They will gladly point you to a new adventure you might not have thought of.
